Health Care Task Force
Task Force Charges:
- Identify health care workforce shortages and the regions in which they exist.
- Identify any causes of the shortages.
- Offer suggestions to address the shortages.
The Health Care Task Force Report is a summation of the data collected and the discussion and concerns held by the professionals assigned to the Health Care Task Force. The information contained is a snapshot that confirms efforts by various other groups attentive to health care workforce issues. It is the SWIB's intent, with the Governor's concurrence, to use the report as a guide to help facilitate ongoing discussion and direct SWIB Committee projects. This report will be a valuable tool as they continue their work engaging and aligning workforce development, economic development, and education. The SWIB believe this particular workforce issue is worthy of continued mindfulness as Montana addresses its aging, undeserved, and rural residents.
